Job summary

JCPenney in Lake Jackson, TX is seeking an Operations Associate to create an outstanding customer experience by performing store operations before opening. This early-morning role works with a team to prepare the store for the day.

You will handle pricing and signing, restock merchandise, unload shipments, maintain backroom standards, and contribute to omnichannel initiatives such as Buy Online Pickup in Store. Retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail experience
• Strong customer focus
• Early morning availability

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while assisting and guiding shoppers
• Execute pricing and signing accurately and efficiently
• Replenish and restock merchandise to meet customer demand
• Receive and unload shipments and prepare backroom merchandise
• Maintain clean, organized backroom and stock areas
• Support omnichannel initiatives (BOPIS, Ship from Store, returns)
• Follow merchandising plans to maximize sales and store appearance
• Participate in ongoing training and process improvements
