Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a Retail Lending Operations Group Manager I to oversee the end-to-end Retail Credit Loan Origination process within the assigned unit. You will manage daily activities, pipeline, workflow, and quality monitoring, reporting to an office four days per week from Jacksonville, FL.

You will lead a team of staff, ensure policy adherence, and drive operational metrics in processing, underwriting, and closing while coordinating with Retail, Product, and other partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience beyond the listed requirements.
• 5+ years residential mortgage loan experience including conventional, FHA and VA loans.
• 5+ years of management experience with responsibility for processing, underwriting, and closing residential mortgage loans.
• Extensive knowledge of residential loan documentation and underwriting guidelines (FNMA DU, FHLMC LP).
• Familiarity with jumbo loans, FHA/VA products and niche products such as Alt-A loans.

Responsibilities

• Provide people management by hiring, setting goals, developing staff and managing performance.
• Oversee end-to-end Retail Credit and Loan Origination functions.
• Manage day-to-day operations of assigned staff.
• Lead staff on processing, underwriting and closing functions and ensure policy compliance.
• Coach and mentor team members and align with regulatory requirements and audit standards.
