Job summary

Five Below is seeking a hands-on Store Manager or equivalent level leader to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and manage a team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will coordinate stock, displays, promotions, and opening/closing procedures while ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to corporate guidelines.

You will also coach associates, support onboarding, and implement merchandising plans to maximize performance and inventory accuracy across departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays and promotions per corporate guidelines.
• Handles opening/closing duties including cash, locks, alarms, and daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and provides coaching.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
• Executes the market plan and maintains inventory integrity per company standards.
