Job summary

Michaels Waterford, CT is seeking a Merchandising Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. This role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store through strong workload planning and inventory control.

Major activities include leading SOP adherence, managing MOD coverage, truck execution, SISO routines, POG execution, and maintaining backroom organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced store environment.
• Strong planning and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization, aligning staffing with business needs.
• Execute and maintain SISO routines to drive in-stock levels, replenishment accuracy and sales readiness.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution, ensuring merchandising sets are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Establish and maintain pricing accuracy, timely promotional execution, and customer-ready store environment.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
