Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Waterford, CT is hiring a Merchandise Manager who will drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strategic workload planning and proactive inventory management, leading and coaching the team on daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading store operations and merchandising programs.
• Strong inventory control and pricing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise and store operations per SOPs and company programs.
• Oversee truck processing, replenishment, planogram sets, and visual standards.
• Ensure accurate pricing and timely promotional execution.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain store leadership on the floor.
• Drive in-stock levels through SISO routines and inventory management.
• Lead ship-from-store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
• Train and coach team members in assigned departments.
