Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a Merchandising & Inventory Supervisor to lead store operations and customer service on the sales floor. You will manage inventory controls, execute planograms, unload trucks, stock shelves, and deliver strong service while coaching a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of merchandising and retail operations.
• Experience coaching a team and supervising others.
• Ability to engage customers and assess needs.
• Ability to multitask with limited supervision.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory controls: Zero Balance, Return to Vendor, Return to Warehouse, Cross Channel Returns, Reserve online pick up in store.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain stock levels.
• Execute weekly planograms and seasonal merchandising changeover.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Engage customers and present solutions to their needs.
• Maintain a neat, inviting store environment.
• Perform cashier, returns, and online reservations.
• Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
