Job summary

Staples is seeking a Merchandising & Inventory Supervisor to support sales floor merchandising, inventory controls, and customer service. You will lead a team, execute planograms, and ensure stock levels while delivering a positive store experience.

You’ll perform cashier duties when needed, coach staff, and step in as Manager on Duty. Staples offers full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and efficient inventory controls: Zero Balance, Return to Vendor, Return to Warehouse, Cross Channel Returns, Reserve online pick up in store.
• Execute all product activities including truck unloading, sorting, stocking, and maintaining stock levels.
• Execute Weekly Planograms and seasonal promo merchandising changeover.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Engage customers with basic selling skills and present solutions.
• Maintain an inviting store environment: neat and clean.
• Perform front end duties like cashier, returns, and online reservations.
• Lead store when scheduled as Manager on Duty.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
