Job summary

Staples is seeking a Merchandising & Inventory Supervisor to lead store operations and negotiate daily workflow. You will oversee inventory control, pricing, and signage while coaching team members to deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and coaching a team and/or supervising others.
• Ability to engage customers and understand their needs.

• Ability to lift, push, or pull items and climb ladders safely.

• Proficient in conflict resolution in a retail setting.
• Demonstrates honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Preferred: key holder experience in retail.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory controls: Zero Balance, RTV, Return to Warehouse, Cross Channel Returns, Reserve Online Pickup in Store.
• Perform product activities including truck unloading, sorting, stocking, and maintaining stock levels.
• Execute weekly planograms and seasonal merchandising changes.
• Engage customers with selling skills and present solutions.
• Maintain a neat, inviting store environment and assist as cashier or in returns.
• Provide store leadership when scheduled as Manager on Duty.
• Flexibly perform other duties as assigned.
