Job summary

Staples is hiring Merchandising & Inventory Supervisors to lead sales floor merchandising, inventory controls, and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will collaborate with store teams, execute weekly planograms, manage stock levels, support cashier operations, and serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled, with opportunities for professional development and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising and retail operations.
• Experience managing and coaching a team.
• Ability to engage customers and assess their needs.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to the 100-pound range and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and efficient inventory controls: Zero Balance, Return to Vendor, Return to Warehouse, Cross Channel Returns, Reserve online pick up in store.
• Execute all product activities including truck unloading, sorting, stocking, and maintaining stock levels.
• Execute Weekly Planograms and seasonal promo merchandising changeover.
• Understand and utilize basic selling skills to engage and present solutions to customers.
• Provide an inviting environment for customers by keeping the store neat and clean.
• Perform front end responsibilities such as cashier, returns, and online reservations.
