Job summary

Staples is seeking a Merchandising & Inventory Supervisor to lead sales floor merchandising, signage standards, inventory management, back-room operations, and customer service. You will coach a team in a collaborative, fast-paced retail environment and support daily store needs, including front-end duties and occasional leadership coverage.

You will help execute planograms, stock levels, and signage while ensuring an inviting store atmosphere and strong customer connections. Hiring immediately.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or supervising a work team.
• Ability to engage customers and assess their needs.
• Understanding of merchandising and store operations.
• Experience handling multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Process inventory controls: Zero Balance, RTV, RTW, cross-channel returns, and reserve online pickup.
• Unload trucks, sort, stock, and maintain stock levels.
• Execute weekly planograms and seasonal merchandising changes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Engage customers with basic selling skills and present solutions.
• Maintain a neat, inviting store environment.
• Handle cashier, returns, and online reservations at front end.
• Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
