Job summary

Michaels Traverse City, MI seeks a Merchandise Manager to lead merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management, while coaching a driven team to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Assist Store Manager in SOPs and Company programs
• Provide MOD coverage and floor leadership
• Lead truck execution and merchandise flow
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines
• Oversee Planogram execution
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards
• Manage inventory control and price changes
• Operate Ship from Store and RTV/ASN processes
• Train and develop team members
• Partner in Asset Protection practices

Responsibilities

• Drive merchandising and operational execution across the store
• Lead truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards
• Ensure accurate pricing and timely promotional execution
• Maintain a customer-ready store environment through workload planning and inventory management
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership
• Oversee replenishment, stock movement, and POS operations
• Coordinate Ship from Store fulfillment and returns processes
• Support store damage procedures and shrink reduction
• Coach and develop store team members
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and company programs
