Job summary

Michaels Stores, a leading crafts retailer, seeks a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution in a busy store environment. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, visual standards, and pricing to ensure a customer-ready store.

You will also manage SOP adherence, MOD coverage, and in-store promotions while coaching staff and maintaining stock integrity and shrink control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading, accurate sorting, and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization, aligning staffing with business needs.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently and accurately.
