Qualifications

• Experience in retail environment, especially footwear/apparel, is preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet goals.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on key tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with multitasking ability.
• Team-player with passion for customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets and implementing action plans across departments.
• In the absence of Store Manager, assume supervisory responsibilities and communicate with staff.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to complete department responsibilities and standards.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure high-quality customer service per manuals and policies.
• Handle general administrative duties and support Store Manager responsibilities.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold all company policies and internal control procedures; report any fraud risks.
