Ross Stores, Inc. in Maryland seeks a Loss Prevention Specialist to protect customers and associates, deter theft, and uphold store policies while delivering friendly, professional service.

You will partner with Store Leadership to monitor entrances, greet customers, and support safety initiatives. Requires at least a year of retail supervisory or loss prevention training; full-time onsite work.

Qualifications

• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
• Excellent Customer service skills.
• Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.
• Must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations for security positions, including background screening, physical examination, fingerprinting and/or drug and alcohol testing.

Responsabilités

• Protect customers and associates by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Provide a visible, friendly presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor.
• Monitor for theft indicators and communicate with Store Leadership and Loss Prevention.
• Support compliance with Loss Prevention directives and minimize shortages.
• Represent the Ross brand with professional appearance and conduct.
