This full-time role involves collaboration with LP teams, law enforcement, and management; base pay ranges $20.29–$29.30 per hour, with location- and experience-based adjustments; a strong emphasis on teamwork, compliance, and maintaining a safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required, AA degree preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in loss prevention, retail, or security.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners including law enforcement.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain working relationships with associates at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve with the proper sense of urgency.
• Must be able to comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations for security positions, including but not limited to background screening, fingerprinting and/or drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances, exits, sales floor, and checkout areas to identify theft or fraudulent behavior.
• Observe and engage individuals exhibiting dishonest actions to prevent potential loss.
• Utilize CCTV, reporting tools, and investigative resources to detect theft indicators and validate incidents.
• Accurately document incidents, maintain evidence, and provide timely reports to leadership and Investigations teams.
• Partner with leadership and law enforcement to resolve theft cases and support apprehensions when authorized.
• Assist with trespass enforcement for repeat offenders in compliance with company policy.
• Collaborate with internal teams on major theft incidents and contribute to follow-up investigations.
• Identify and report safety hazards and operational vulnerabilities to store management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support loss prevention objectives.
