Qualifications

• Experience in retail footwear and athletic apparel preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.

• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with store goals and profits.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assumes responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provides knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure quality customer service per manuals and policies.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
• Uphold all company policies and standards from manuals and memos.
• Protect assets and financial information and report potential fraud.
