Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear in Winnsboro, LA is seeking a Manager in Training to assist the Store Manager with daily operations and administration. You will be knowledgeable across departments and promote sales and promotions while delivering outstanding customer service.

As a trainee, you will prepare to take store leadership, learn inventory management, scheduling, and visual merchandising, and supervise in the Store Manager's absence to ensure excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Is a team-player, passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with store operations and administrative duties.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments when necessary.
• Keep the Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
