Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear Ville Platte, LA is seeking a Manager in Training to support the Store Manager with daily operations and outstanding customer service. The role requires knowledge of product areas across departments and a focus on achieving store goals and promotions.

You will learn merchandising, inventory, and staffing responsibilities, stepping in for the Store Manager when needed to ensure smooth operations and a premium customer experience.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred, footwear/apparel experience a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments as needed.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Maintain internal controls and protect assets, communicating risks to management.
