Job summary

99 Ranch Market is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to develop into a leadership role across Tri-Valley stores. You will rotate through departments, HQ, CPU, and DC, gaining hands-on experience under mentorship and structured training.

Expect a clear path to store leadership as the business grows. Responsibilities include planning promotions, maintaining displays, managing schedules, and coaching team members.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in related fields, including at least 1 year in management or supervision.
• Able to work in environments with temperature changes and operate related equipment.
• Must be able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; willing to relocate for training.

Responsibilities

• Undergo 6 to 8 months of training with evaluations; post-training assignment to a store and leadership duties.
• Manage daily department operations and meet company standards.
• Collaborate with store management to design promotional plans and meet sales targets.
• Maintain product displays, ensure freshness, and keep shelves stocked.
• Handle ordering based on inventory, promotions, and delivery schedules.
• Receive poultry shipments and verify quantity and quality.
• Oversee FIFO inventory movement and organize cold storage and counts.
• Communicate with local vendors and identify popular local products.
• Utilize labeling, pricing programs, and ensure accurate signage.
• Schedule department staff and manage attendance; participate in HC management.
• Maintain a safe, clean workplace and perform other duties as assigned.
