Job summary

99 Ranch Market is seeking a Store Management Trainee in Fremont, CA. This full-time program runs 6–8 months, offering hands-on leadership development across store operations, SOPs, product knowledge, and staff management.

Trainees will rotate, learn, and be prepared for a supervisory role. Upon successful completion, you’ll transition to a store leadership position, overseeing planning, ordering, displays, promotions, and staff management.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of experience in related fields.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and operate related equipment.
• Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; may relocate for training.

Responsibilities

• undergo 6 to 8 months of training and evaluations.
• After training, be assigned to a store and handle SOP, product knowledge, planning, ordering, organization and supervisory duties.
• Manage daily department operations and meet company standards.
• Collaborate with store management on promotions to hit sales targets.
• Maintain product displays and ensure shelves are stocked and fresh.
• Order products based on inventory and promotions; support inventory control.
• Receive poultry shipments and inspect quantity and quality.
• Perform inventory control including FIFO and stock counts.
• Learn local vendors and popular local products.
• Use labeling and price-sign software efficiently.
• Schedule department staff and manage attendance.
• Support Human Capital Management through coaching and training.
• Maintain a safe and clean workplace.
• Other duties as needed.
