Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to lead daily store operations and guest service.

You will work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, recruit and develop Teammates, and ensure excellent merchandising and store standards. This role includes responsibilities across sales, training, visual merchandising, and store operations, with opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Sales Generation and Guest Service: greet Guests, answer questions, recommend merchandise, and provide legendary service.
• Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: assist in recruiting, coaching and developing Teammates.
• Visual Merchandise Management: own zones, maintain standards, and monitor displays.
• Operations: maintain schedule, follow loss prevention guidelines, handle POS procedures, ensure a clean, shoppable store.
• Supervisory and Leadership: support leadership, interview as needed, travel to cover stores, maintain professional relationships.
