Job summary

Meijer invites students to join the Store Leadership Internship, an 11-week program designed to develop leadership and retail knowledge. Interns will work on challenging projects, deliver final presentations to senior leaders, and participate in development opportunities that can lead to future store leadership roles.

During the internship, interns will rotate into leadership roles, with potential to convert to full-time positions and leadership rotations.

Qualifications

• The Meijer Store Leadership Internship is designed for students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
• Ability to work flexible shifts to gain exposure to the full operation of the store.
• Past leadership responsibilities in work or extracurricular activities are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to ensure customer service and sales goals are met.
• Spend majority of time in-store communicating with customers and team members to ensure exceptional service.
