Job summary

Meijer invites energetic students to join the Store Leadership Internship, a challenging 11-week program designed to develop leadership in a multi-store environment. Interns will handle real projects, present to senior executives, and participate in executive speaker series while gaining meaningful retail knowledge.

The experience serves as a pathway to accelerated leadership roles, with potential for conversion to a full-time position and development rotations.

Qualifications

• Experiential internship designed for Bachelor's degree students.
• Ability to work flexible shifts to gain exposure to full operations.
• Prior leadership responsibilities preferred in work or extracurriculars.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation to Meijer standards.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure consistent attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
