Job summary

Target's Stores Executive Internship is a paid, 40-hour-per-week program designed to develop store leaders. As a Stores Executive Intern you will work with mentors to understand guest service, merchandising, and operational priorities.

You'll gain hands-on experience leading teams, driving guest experience, and preparing for the Executive Team Leader role, with ongoing development conversations and feedback.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interest in working in retail management.
• Leadership skills and team-oriented thinking.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the store salesfloor and backroom leading team members.
• Work alongside your Executive Team Lead (ETL) mentor and other leaders.
• Lead through daily priorities (stocking shelves, safety and guest welcome).
• Partner with leaders regarding team member performance by coaching and feedback.
• Address team member concerns to ensure smooth operations and goals.
• Lead/present at daily huddles with peer/leadership team.
