Job summary

Target's Stores Executive Leadership internship is a paid 40hr/week, hands-on training program to develop and prepare you for store leadership.

As a Stores Executive Intern, you will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role (Assistant Store Manager) over a defined period, working with managers and team members to learn how Target’s retail business operates and how to excel in a management role.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience building and managing a guest-first team culture across the store.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, physical retail environment.
• Openness to a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the execution of daily store operations with your team.
• Drive guest experience and impact store financial, team and operational performance.
• Work with a mentor to learn department leadership within the store.
• Spend time leading, motivating a team and delivering strong guest service.
• Participate in ongoing development conversations and support store priorities.
