Job summary

Target seeks an intern for its Stores Executive Internship program in Nashville. This paid 40 hr/week internship provides a realistic preview of an ETL role, with mentorship and exposure to multiple store areas to develop leadership, guest service, and business acumen.

You will lead daily priorities, learn from senior leaders, drive guest experience, and gain experience in merchandising, team leadership, and store operations as you prepare for a potential leadership path within the company.

Qualifications

• Retail exposure or interest in store leadership preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
• Willingness to learn and develop leadership capabilities

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store priorities on the sales floor and backroom to support guest service and sales goals
• Partner with the ETL mentor and store leaders to understand roles and responsibilities
• Guide teams in stocking, display setup, and guest engagement while maintaining safety and accuracy
• Participate in daily huddles, training activities, and feedback sessions to improve performance
• Support development conversations and learn Target leadership expectations through hands-on experiences
