Job summary

Target is offering a Stores Executive Internship in Columbia, SC. This paid, 40 hr/week program provides hands-on training to develop and prepare you for the Stores Executive Leader role.

You will work closely with mentors and leaders across the store, gaining experience in guest service, operations, and team leadership while learning to drive performance and guest satisfaction. You will be mentored by experienced leaders, participate in daily activities, and have opportunities to lead teams,

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong interest in retail management roles.
• Willingness to learn Target leadership expectations and develop quickly.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the store salesfloor and backroom leading team members and aligning daily priorities.
• Lead through daily priorities, stocking shelves, and maintaining a welcoming guest environment.
• Partner with leaders to address performance, coach, train, and provide timely feedback.
• Participate in internship training activities and development opportunities to grow leadership skills.
• Lead daily huddles, plan goals, and communicate results with the leadership team.
