Job summary

Target offers a Stores Executive Internship with a paid 40 hr/week hands-on training track designed to prepare you for store leadership. You will work closely with mentors and other leaders to develop the skills needed to lead in a retail environment and deliver exceptional guest service.

As a Stores Executive Intern you will learn to drive guest experience, manage daily operations, and contribute to store priorities while development conversations and feedback are ongoing throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interest in working in retail management.
• Leadership skills and team-oriented thinking.
• Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.

Responsibilities

• Spending time on the store sales floor and backroom leading team members and aligning daily priorities.
• Working with the ETL mentor and leadership to understand roles and responsibilities.
• Leading daily priorities such as stocking shelves and maintaining a safe, welcoming guest environment.
• Coaching and providing timely performance feedback to team members.
• Participating in internship training activities and development events.
• Delivering an exceptional guest experience and helping guests with their needs.
