Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, customer-first store. You will assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and support management to maximize profitability and store assets.

This role leads sales activities in the absence of the Store Manager, open and close the store, and ensure planograms are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; provide superior service.
• Operate cash register; process payments and bag items.
• Stock, restock, and rotate merchandise; setup displays.
• Clean store; manage trash; maintain restrooms and stockroom.
• Support planogram implementation.
• Open and close store per manager directions.
