Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager and support a fast-paced team environment. The role emphasizes friendly customer service, integrity, and resourcefulness in daily operations.

The successful candidate will have supervisory experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as stores operate across most hours. Wage is $17.25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night shifts.
• Maintains daily sales records, cash deposits, and opening/closing reports; conducts inspections as needed.
• Operates cash register and provides customer service.
• Receives, prices, and stocks donations; may lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10–35 pounds frequently.
• Hangs, inspects, and tags textile & clothing in production-style setting.
