Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant. The role emphasizes friendly customer service, teamwork, integrity, and a fast-paced environment.

The Lead Associate will close the store, reconcile cash, manage records and prepare opening/closing reports, handle donations processing, and maintain textile tagging. Evening and weekend hours are required, with a $16.50 hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Lead or supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports and conducts inspections when necessary.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations. (Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.)
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting.
