Job summary

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder for our Retail Operations team in West Hollywood, CA. This role opens and closes the store, supports staff, and helps drive sales during high-volume periods while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, supervising cash handling, inventory tasks, and training new employees. You’ll ensure pricing accuracy, process returns, monitor the floor to prevent loss, and help maintain store standards and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with fluid schedules; be available during peak hours of operation and availability to support stores on nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
• Team-oriented mentality.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them of products and services.
• Arrive early to open the store and leave late to close the store.
• Assist the store in periods of high volume and provide support for new employees.
• Knowledge of in house products to provide customers with recommendations.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, restocking merchandise, counts, and discrepancy identification.
• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening and closing tills, counting cash, and preparing deposits.
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Follow proper age verification policies.
• Ensure prices and quantities are accurate and provide receipts.
• Processing refunds and exchanges.
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including bag checks and security procedures.
• Store cleanliness and assist in maintaining standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms.
• Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards.
