Job summary

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder for our Retail Operations team. The role opens and closes the store and supports management in their absence while driving sales and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include assisting during peak periods, training new staff, handling cash, and ensuring inventory accuracy, pricing, and store security. A strong team player with leadership experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience
• Ability to work with fluid schedules; be available during peak hours and nights/weekends/holidays
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling
• Team-oriented mentality; ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them of products and services
• Open the store early and close the store late
• Assist during high-volume periods and support new employees
• Know in-house products to recommend items to customers
• Assist with inventory tasks: restocking, counts, discrepancies
• Process cash transactions, open/close tills, count cash, prepare deposits
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics
• Follow age verification policies
• Ensure prices and quantities are accurate; provide receipts
• Process refunds and exchanges
• Monitor floor to prevent theft and loss; conduct bag checks
• Maintain store cleanliness across sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms
• Train new employees on store procedures and customer service standards
