Job summary

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder for our Retail Operations team in Pinole, CA. Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, assisting during high-volume periods, and supporting new employees while delivering excellent customer service and driving sales.

The role requires leadership experience, ability to work flexible hours, basic math and cash handling skills, and the stamina to lift up to 49 pounds. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail or equivalent.
• Ability to work fluid schedules including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Basic math skills and cash handling proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them about products.
• Open the store in the morning and close it at night.
• Support for new employees and high-volume periods.
• Know in-house products to offer recommendations.
• Assist with inventory tasks like restocking and counts.
• Process cash transactions, open/close tills, and deposits.
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and related electronics.
• Follow age verification policies.
• Ensure prices and quantities are accurate and provide receipts.
• Process refunds and exchanges.
• Monitor floor to prevent theft and enforce security.
• Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms.
• Train new employees on procedures and product knowledge.
