Job summary

HCLTech is hiring for a Retail Field Support Technician to deliver on-site hardware and software configuration support at customer stores, offices, and distribution centers. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining various devices, troubleshooting across PCs, network devices, and retail equipment, and ensuring service levels are met.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Information Technology or equivalent education/experience.
• 3+ years of PC hardware and software configuration support.
• 1+ year in Retail Field Support Operations Hardware Support.
• Troubleshooting PCs, network devices, and store equipment in retail environments.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot devices applications in retail stores.
• Excellent customer service orientation and verbal communication.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for safety and maintenance of issued company van and meeting local regulations.
• Provide on-site hardware/software device support at customer stores, offices, and distribution centers.
• Install, configure, and maintain devices at stores and sites; perform IMACDs (Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose).
• Provide remote diagnostics and in-person support to meet SLAs; assist with store openings and events.
• Update CMDB/AMS with device, logistics, and warranty information; communicate status to management.
