Summary

The Retail Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for the stability, performance and continuous improvement of store-side technology and end-user infrastructure across the United States and Canada. This hands-on role combines technical ownership of networks, connectivity and on-premise systems with cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless retail and corporate operations. The specialist supports store openings, hardware rollouts, incident resolution and documentation to optimize the customer and employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal functioning of network, connectivity and end-user infrastructure at retail locations and corporate (switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, on-premise servers).
• Oversee lifecycle management of retail store technology and POS systems to maintain stability and functionality.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, escalates appropriately and maintain ownership until resolution.
• Manage backups, business continuity routines and disaster recovery procedures aligned with global standards.
• Coordinate provisioning and installation of equipment for upgrades, new store openings and expansions; manage external vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with regional IT peers and corporate stakeholders to anticipate support needs and streamline retail technology.
• Maintain and update documentation, asset records and shared materials for accuracy and usability.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a comparable role with a meaningful component in retail IT or POS support, preferably in luxury or premium retail.
• Strong knowledge of retail store technology and POS systems.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi‑Fi, firewalls) and enterprise end-user computing.
• Windows Server administration experience and working knowledge of cloud/SaaS platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure).
• Cybersecurity awareness applied to retail and end-user environments; relevant Microsoft or Cisco certifications a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, work cross-functionally, travel occasionally and communicate effectively in fast-paced retail contexts.
