Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Ability to master both the SuccessFactors HR and learning systems and the payroll system.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
• Ability to think critically and logically.
• High level understanding of standard practice and ethical behavior in record keeping.
• Familiarity with Office applications including but not limited to Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage all administrative functions related to payroll (time and attendance, processing payroll, matching payroll to MPA plan, etc.).
• Manage Workers' Compensation and Disability paperwork; file accident investigations and OSHA binder.
• Act as in-store expert for SuccessFactors HR/Learning and payroll systems and assist associates with self‑service functions.
• Direct associates with questions to the appropriate contact and track attendance with store leadership.
• Perform initial screening with job applicants and schedule interviews.
• Provide training reports to Department Managers and Store Leadership.
• Ensure Criminal Background Check paperwork is completed for required roles.
• Conduct new hire orientations and set up associates in payroll and HR systems.
• Support associate participation in surveys and benefits enrollment.
• Maintain confidential personnel and training files and store HR bulletin boards.
• Order uniforms, name tags, and recognition material; ensure poster compliance.
• Positively influence the Associate Experience and maintain confidentiality of store information.
• Complete Sunday payroll functions.
