Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc is seeking a Human Resource Manager to serve as the store's HR partner, supporting recruiting, payroll, employee relations, and compliance. You will counsel leaders on performance reviews, scheduling, wages, and benefits, while maintaining confidential records.

In this role you’ll manage recruiting processes, coordinate onboarding and training, track employee information in Workday, and ensure adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 2-3 years HR and accounting coursework.
• Experience with HR processes and payroll is preferred.
• Hy-Vee experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HR services to store teams including recruiting, payroll, employee relations and compliance.
• Counsel department heads and employees on performance reviews, scheduling, benefits, wages, and personnel matters.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and retention programs from interview to training.
• Manage employee records, leave requests, and workers' compensation processes.
• Assist in payroll adjustments and communication of payroll information.
