Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 2 to 3 years of HR and accounting coursework required.
• Hy-Vee experience preferred.
• Strong communication and discretion when handling confidential records.
• Ability to manage payroll, benefits, and scheduling tasks.
• Experience with Workday time and attendance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inputting, updating, and deleting employee information in Workday time and attendance system.
• Support payroll adjustments including bonuses and missed pay raises.
• Coordinate recruiting and retention programs and employee transfers between stores.
• Assist with hiring processes including interviewing and orientations and training new employees.
• Prepare wage verifications and employment verifications, disability claims, and leave of absence requests.
• Maintain confidential employee records and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Assist in scheduling, vacations tracking, and attendance management.
