Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 2 to 3 years of HR and accounting coursework required; Hy-Vee experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and greet customers throughout the store.
• Coordinate all employee information updates in the time and attendance system.
• Counsel department heads on performance reviews, scheduling, benefits, and wages.
• Develop and manage recruiting and retention programs and full hiring process.
• Coordinate employee transfers and track vacation and personal days.
• Conduct performance reviews and attend weekly staff meetings.
• Make payroll adjustments and transmit payroll data to corporate weekly.
• Disperse paychecks and reports; handle confidential payroll communications.
• Prepare wage verifications and manage leaves of absence requests.
• Record Workers' Compensation claims and complete accident reports.
