Hy-Vee is seeking a Human Resources and Accounting Manager to oversee people operations and store accounting. The role covers payroll, benefits, recruiting, and monthly reconciliations to support a fast-paced store team.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work with numbers and people, and maintain strict discretion with confidential information. This is an on-site, full-time role in a Hy-Vee store.

Qualifications

• Clear written and verbal communication with employees and leadership.
• Discretion handling confidential records and cash.
• Experience with payroll and basic accounting processes.
• Ability to perform financial reconciliations and data analysis.
• HR coursework or experience relevant to store operations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee both people operations and store accounting to keep the store financially sound.
• Recruiting, payroll, employee relations, and benefits administration.
• Manage accounts payable, periodic reconciliations, and cash accountability.
• Coordinate scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
• Prepare wage verifications and maintain compliance with policies.
