Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a General Manager in Training to support our Retail Management team at the Aftergut Center Headquarters. You will learn to oversee store operations, budgets, and staffing while upholding our mission to Change Lives Through the Power of Work.

The role offers an hourly full-time schedule with a $24.50 hourly rate and a bonus potential of up to $500 per month. A path through our Leadership Development Cohort Program guides your growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three years of Retail, Warehouse, or Logistics management experience.
• Valid MO or IL driver’s license and insurance are required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including customer service, conflict resolution, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Learn to oversee store operations, resources, and budgets to meet/exceed goals.
• Model values to foster safety, ethics, and quality within the store.
• Supervise and train staff to perform core duties.
• Provide superior customer service to retain donors, shoppers, and staff; de-escalate issues quickly.
