Eataly is seeking a General Manager of Retail to oversee the complex retail operations of a flagship store. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on floor presence to ensure profitability and product excellence.

The GM will partner with store leadership, manage multiple departments, and drive cross-functional collaboration while maintaining a guest-focused shopping environment. Strong communication and Italian product experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of retail or grocery management in high-volume environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsabilités

• Directs and organizes the store’s retail operations to maximize profitability.
• Develops departmental goals and leads a team of managers.
• Works with each manager to address operational needs and improve cross-department collaboration.
• Analyzes financial data and creates strategies around pricing, merchandising and promotions.
• Manages merchandise and creates product lists, including roll-outs and phase-outs.
• Prepares weekly updates on the retail department for senior leadership.
• Participates in hiring, onboarding, payroll, scheduling, and evaluations.
