Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a friendly Cashier/Front End Team Member in Pleasanton, CA to provide fast, accurate checkout and helpful product guidance. You will handle transactions, assist customers with questions, and learn about wine, beer, and spirits through ongoing training.

The role supports a positive customer experience, including greeting customers, processing payments, and promoting loyalty programs. Availability evenings and weekends is expected; 21+ and physical stamina required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience, 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems (POS).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older with physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers, engage and build relationships, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and compliance with alcohol sale regulations.
• Perform cross-functional duties as assigned.
