Job summary

Total Wine & More in California is seeking a Front End Team Member (Cashier) to deliver fast, friendly service, process transactions, verify IDs, promote loyalty programs, and help customers find products.

This role may also serve as a sales associate or merchandiser. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of retail experience are preferred; ability to work evenings/weekends and lift up to 50 lbs is required. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience, 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers and provide a personalized shopping experience.
• Promote loyalty programs and upsell products where appropriate.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with alcohol sale regulations.
• Inventory support and basic merchandising tasks as assigned.
