Total Wine & More is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver fast, accurate transactions and help customers with questions. You may also serve as sales associate or merchandiser as needed.

You will greet customers, promote the loyalty program, maintain product knowledge, and comply with alcohol sale laws. The role requires a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, with benefits like PTO and health plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience; 1+ year in a retail setting preferred.
• Passion for best‑in‑class customer service and teamwork mindset.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers, engage to build relationships, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store and comply with alcohol sale laws.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
