Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a friendly Cashier to provide fast, courteous service, process transactions, verify IDs, and promote our loyalty program. The role may expand to a sales associate or merchandiser, reporting to store management.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years retail experience, and familiarity with POS systems and inventory software. Benefits include PTO, discounts, health plans, 401(k), and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience; 1+ year in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers, build relationships, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Adhere to laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe store environment.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
