Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a friendly Front End Team Member to process cash register transactions and assist customers in a fast-paced retail environment. You may also support as a sales associate or merchandiser, while upholding alcohol sale laws and store policies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1–3 years in retail, with familiarity with POS systems. The role requires evenings/weekends and the ability to stand for long periods in a spacious, safety-conscious store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older, stand for 8–10 hours, lift and handle cases, and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Promote the loyalty program and upsell products.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers and providing product information.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer product training to build knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain store safety and cleanliness.
• Adhere to all laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and store operations.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities as assigned.
