Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in locating products, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store. You will manage fast checkout, handle cash to standards, enroll customers in rewards programs, and assist with BOPIS/SFS processes.

The role includes truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties, plus merchandise recovery and safety programs. A positive, professional attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to engage customers and enroll in Rewards program.
• Ability to learn and operate Store systems for checkout and inventory.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast checkout experience and accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties.
• Complete merchandise recovery and store recovery to maintain in-stock shelves.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain professional conduct.
• Interact with customers and colleagues in a respectful, positive manner.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
