Job summary

Mattel is seeking a Specialist to lead the forecasting and planning for a top retailer. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on collaborative sales forecasting and inventory management, supporting both the Sales team and the customer planning groups in forecasting, planning, and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of sales trends to improve weekly item-level POS projections.
• Own plans and align with internal stakeholders and retail partners for a unified retail plan.
• Determine models for evaluating forecasts considering consumption, history, and inventory.
• Create weekly shipping plans by item and channel to support POS and in-stock needs.
• Present findings in internal S&OP meetings and with Buyers and Replenishment Managers.
• Support end-to-end order fulfillment and improve fill rate.
